Over The Top Christmas Lights
2014 - Behind the Scenes - Stereo Surge Protectors

I used a couple short pieces of 12 guage wire, a few nails, 8 small screws, two long screws, 4" x 18" x 3/8" plywood, 2" x 2" x 17" board, black paint, and 2 SLS- Speaker Lightning Suppressors from Grommes~Precision.

I attached the plywood to the 2" x 2" board using a few nails the positioned the SLSs marked and crilled holes for the speaker wire and the ground wires. I painted it all black and attached the SLSs using short screws. The ground wires from the SLSs were connected to the ground wire which was attached to the ground block.

The board was attached to the wall using two long screws. The SLSs were wired as per directions. The speaker wires were then connected to stereo then tested.

The boards were attached and the holes were drilled.

The board was painted.

The SLSs were attached, wired as per directions, and wired to stereo then tested. Not only does this protect the equipment but looks good too.
