2012 Behind the Scenes - Stars

I made two sizes of stars. I made 3' stars used on the fire sticks and then a 4' star used on the mega tree. Both sized stars made the same way using the YouTube video, "how to make a 3 foot rope light christmas star", as the basis of the work.

I used 4' dowel rods 3/8" in diameter. They are tapped together in the shape of a star.

I wrapped the 3' stars with 100 LED lights and the 4' star with 200 incandescent mini lights..
